Hand painted cotton embellished further by embroidery and beading, this piece is ‘The One’. The result of approx 3 months of work. In this piece I wanted to create a totem style symbol through the center of the artwork to represent strength, solidarity and the power of will. 
 
Combining paint with various other materials like wool, thread, beads and sequins to create vibrant artworks that are meticulously detailed but also explosions of colour and texture - I draw upon my background of visual arts and years working as a designer with my love of craft and textiles to produce pieces of art that are hand embroidered and beaded, each with its own characteristics making each piece a one of a kind collectable and completely unique.
